happy birthday Heather!

Graduation!!!!!!!

Kirk Graduated!!!!! What a wonderful week its been, graduation was a two day event, Thursday Richard G. Scott spoke and was wonderful!! Friday was when Kirk actually walked and after we partied! He says its weird to not be worryied about school, but I am loving the new-less stressed and more silly Kirk. Its an exciting time and we are enjoying every second of it!

Valentines Day Surprise

So for valentines day I wanted to do something extra special for Kirk. So I arranged a test drive with the coolest/most expensive car within an hour of where we live. It ended up a Bentley! The black one cost like $250,000! Boy it was awesome! The cars where made entirely of leather, grand piano wood, or metal. Not a scrap of plastic! They sales guy said it took 12 full cows to make the car, and boy the leather was amazing. You can't really capture the feel of the amazing interior in the pictures. The car drove great too! like 0-120 in minutes. It was a lot of fun! I think Kirk really enjoyed it.

So its been a while, but honestly, Kirk and I are boring in school. He are some pictures to show what we've been up to since we got back from Washington.

So we moved in to our new apartment in Provo, (this one has two bedrooms! We're living the high life) And we got a kitchen table. I love KSL



Then Halloween came and past, we had a quiet Halloween passing out candy, carving pumpkins (which were smashed that night) and watching Hocus Pocus! The greatest Halloween movie of all times.




We did go to a rockin Murder mystery party with our friends from Kirk's study group, all those pictures are on Facebook, Kirk is Prince charming and I am Juliet, it was awesome.

These next pictures are of a traditional candle light dinner my family has every year, we bust out all my moms real silver and crystal glasses and have ham. Its fun to eat on the finest and pretend to have British manners.





Then was Christmas morning, we came back to Provo that night to have our own Christmas together, it was great. Started our own tradition to do a big breakfast for dinner, complete with bacon! We really missed the Kirk's side of the family around the holidays this year. hopefully next year we'll make it up to Oregon.




Sorry its so late, but hopefully I can stick with my new- new years resolution of trying to keep on the blog, and flossing.
We love and miss all of you we don't get to see as much as we wish we could!

Janna's remodel

We stayed in Richland at the Rew's house. When we got there Janna had the front rooms gutted, so we got to work!

We helped them sand down and restain the dinning table:






They got new carpet and this is the after picture:
(Janna still has to get a coffee table and a curio cabniet for her accessories.)




This coffee table was at Goodwill for $12. We painted it black and got new hardware- it looks brand new!




These are the things my work gave me when I was leaving. My coworkers are so sweet. I am going to miss working there so much! They are all such great people, I learned and gained so much experience. They are the best!

Seattle for the 4th

We went up to Seattle this week to celebrate the 4th. We stayed with Denny and Fran and I had a great time getting to know them. They are just great! The first day we where there we spent the day relaxing, and the boys went shooting. It was fun to hang out with Wayne and his family!

The second day we went on a fairy ride from Edmonds:




We saw a real live jelly fish!





Once we got off the fairy we realized we where trapped, there was a parade that was just starting that blocked off all the traffic, so the fairies stopped coming for a few hours. We didn't mind, the parade was hilarious! (yes that is a love boat float)







After the parade ended, the fairies started again and we headed over to Wayne's for a BBQ.








In marysvile where wayne lives there are no restrictions on fireworks, and there is a reservation one mile away. It was insane there! None of us had ever seen anything like it in our lives, it was like a city show in every direction for three hours!



The next day Wayne and family joined us for a crazy day at Pikes market:




On the peir and all over there where a bunch of crazy statues, we had fun









When we where on the waiting list for dinner, we found a faris wheel, We grabbed the kids and hopped on!



We ate a delicious place on the docks called the crab pot. It was my very first time eating real seafood, first time eating crab too! It was SOOOOOO yummy! (and super fun to eat!)



We had a great time, we both agree it was the best fourth of July weekend ever!






On the way home we stopped at a famous chocolate making shop in Issaquah and got delicious icecream. Such a great trip!!
